Everyday Survival

Everyday Survival is a six-day course for anyone that wishes to be more independent in the outdoors.  Whether you want to be more prepared for an overnight hike, a backcountry hunt, or an out-of-bounds ski trip, you will benefit from this course.

Centered around the concepts of risk mitigation, short-term survival, and how to make the best of a bad situation, you will learn the skills, tools, and attitude necessary to make it through 72 hours in the wilderness.  Topics covered include psychology of survival, clothing selection, emergency action shelters, water procurement & filtration, fire craft, land navigation, first-aid kits (what & why), signaling, and Search & Rescue (help them to help you).
